Top Ten Tuesday (14)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today’s theme is Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read! A lot of the books I’ve included here were also on my first Top Ten Tuesday post, which was for the Top Ten Books I Can’t Believe I Haven’t/Want To Read From the Fantasy Genre. I wrote that back in February but I still haven’t gotten to some of those books. My problem is that I always read so much more contemporary over fantasy but I’m really missing out on some great reads. But I will eventually at some point hopefully get to all of these books!

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

A Darker Shade final for Irene

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

The Selection by Kiera Cass

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

So what hyped books do you want to read but haven’t gotten the chance to yet? Are there any hyped reads that you know you’ll never be interested in?

  • Monica

The Book Thief is great! The Raven Boys and A Game of Thrones are on my list as well! I also have yet to read a V.E. Schwab book as well.

I hear awesome things about The Book Thief so I can’t wait to get to it as well as the film version too! There’s just so many fantasy books that are quite intriguing to me but I usually take very long to get to reading them!

Great list! The Selection and A Game of Thrones are both excellent, so I hope you enjoy those. I have to continue on with their series still though!

Why thank you! I have a feeling that I’m going to wait until all of the books from both The Selection and A Game of Thrones series are published until I start them though.

We have a few of the same books on our lists. I strted Grave Mercy, but neer finished it. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it, but it just seemed slow.

I have heard that Grave Mercy does start slow but also that it gets better as the series goes along! Sorry to hear that you chose to DNF it!
